Atarisoft was a brand name used by Atari to market video games they published for home systems made by their competitors. They published only 4 games for Colecovision. Galaxian and Jungle Hunt are hard to find, but Centipede and Defender are common. Unfortunately, Atarisoft never released Pac-Man on Colecovision.

This port of Pac-Man was completed, and had many of the aspects of Namco's original Pac-Man. It is superior to most other ports by Atarisoft.

This ColecoVision port of Pac-Man successfully reproduces all of the major points of the original arcade game, including the correct shape of the maze and layout of the dots, various graphical elements, and (notably) the authentic behaviors of the ghosts. This means that many of the tricks that you can use in the arcade game (such as hiding in a nook just above and to the right of the ghost cage) work in this version as well.
About the only significant differences between this version and the arcade version are that it runs a bit slower (even on the highest difficulty), the maze is stretched horizontally, and the ghosts take longer to come back out of their cage after being eaten. While the first two are mainly cosmetic, the third one precludes the use of any of the original arcade patterns since the timings are different.
But as console ports go, this one is quite faithful and worth playing.
